Why should I recycle my electronics?

When you recycle electronic devices (e-waste recycling) properly, you provide an opportunity for those devices to be reused or recycled to reclaim materials. When electronics are at the end of their useful life, the safest way to dispose of these devices is to recycle them. For displays like TVs and monitors, they contain lead or mercury lighting. By recycling these displays, you keep hazardous materials out of landfills. Other electronic devices contain circuitry, and it is better to recycle these devices to recover precious, non-ferrous and ferrous metals than to toss them in a landfill. Recycling provides a sustainable solution for electronic devices by controlling hazardous metals and recovering many re-usable and valuable raw materials.

If you require documentation (a certificate of data destruction) verifying your information has been properly destroyed, we offer that service for a fee.
