Last Call is an environmentally friendly cell phone recycling program that keeps cell phones out of landfills and helps your organization earn money. With over 500 million unused cell phones stored in homes across the US, Last Call is actively working to recycle those phones. Our mission is to build awareness about recycling and the environmental impact of cell phone waste. All cell phones recycled in the Last Call program are recycled in an environmentally conscious fashion with all personal data securely destroyed, protecting both our planet and your personal information. How does Last Call work? • After organizations are registered with eLoop’s Last Call program, they are sent specially designated eLoop collection boxes; each box contains a customer account and box control number. If the standard program box is not required, eLoop will supply you with shipping labels. In conference with our customer service team, we will arrive at the system that will work best for your organization. • Phones are collected by the organization and placed in the boxes. • Filled collection boxes are easily converted to a postage-paid self-mailer, and sent back to eLoop via UPS. • Boxes are received and processed at eLoop by designated box control numbers. • Collected phones are weighed by the box and recorded. Organizations are guaranteed a minimum of $0.80 per pound. On average, two cell phones equal one pound. • Phones are sorted for destruction or refurbishment, and all personal data on phones is securely destroyed. • A report is sent to the organization with the total weight collected and amount earned. • eLoop mails checks to organizations, or to the charitable designees, on the 15th of the next month following the 1st month of the program. This process will include each month the project is in operation. E-mail notification will be sent to all parties upon mailing. • Check amounts will be based on the weight of boxes received between the first and last day of each month. Organizations have the option of making Last Call a one-time fundraiser or an ongoing fund-raising and collection opportunity. How does my organization get started? • Please identify a responsible person at your organization to be our main contact. The last page of this document consists of a form to enter all of the operating information to run the program. This will be used as a guideline to service your business during the campaign and assure a successful program. Please save this form on your hard drive and then send this information to lastcall@eloopllc.com. • Specific information required on the form is as follows: • If you’re Last Call fund-raising proceeds will benefit another organization, identify the recipient of your Last Call charitable contribution and provide the name, address and phone number for the organization. • Identify the ship to address for each secure location at your organization where cell phone collection boxes will be utilized. The ship to address will facilitate the reordering process for boxes. Boxes are not permitted to be left in unattended areas. • Determine how your organization will collect the phones. The Last Call program is designed for flexibility to fundraise in a way that best suits your organization. Your internal marketing of this program is essential to its success; please allow eLoop to assist you in developing this strategy. • After your organization’s enrollment in Last Call, eLoop will send out a complimentary press release about your involvement to your local paper, so please identify any local media. • Once we have a commitment to proceed with the program and you have returned the critical contact data that we have requested, you will be contacted by a customer service representative to facilitate the implementation process. If you have specific questions that need answered, you can always contact Sue Iovino at eLoop at (724) 212-3032 x108 to get started! Educational material about e-waste and more information about eLoop will be provided upon request. All Last Call participants will receive informational flyers for distribution.
